This semester I reviewed this familiar and easy-to-understandnovel,written by Mark Twain,the great American writer,on the subject of life.The story is simple,clear and vivid,describing the innocent,lively andunconstrained life of children in the nineteenth century. Their lives let meenvy,let me think,even want to cross that place,feel the life of that time.
A hero of the story ──Tom Sawyer,a bad boy in the eyes of adults: mischievous,truant... And this haseven become something he must do every day! However,it is such a mischievous sothat "all evil do not do" urchin,the body is flashing manyadvantages.
Once,he and Huck,the Wild Child,ran to the cemetery for a littlebit of trifles. Inadvertently,they witnessed a terrible killing. But themurderer Joe framed Huck,so the angry residents will be wronged Huck arrested.The day of Huck's trial was approaching,and Tom could not help hesitating:Sayit,and Joe,who was afraid of killing him,would kill him;not to say it,hisconscience was in great torment. Finally,Tom decided to prove everything incourt. It was a murder,and the murderer Joe was there. Was he not afraid ofJoe? It's false to say he isn’t afraid,but Tom has a strong sense of justice,sohe's desperate to save Huck. He's clean.
Tom is such a firm andbold,full of conscience and sense of justice,when the key he can always standup and put his life and death out of measure. I was deeply shocked by Tom'sactions. You know,in the days when Tom lived,in that place,Injun Joe was goingto kill a little boy,though it wasn't easy,but it would never be too difficult.Because the village is also an old security guard's armed forces,plus thereonly worship wear shoes. Do you dare to ask us,the answer is almost the same:" I dare not ", because I have seen a report: an Internet bar doorhanging a banner,it says :" caught stealing cars Thieves,reward cash 100yuan ",the original Internet cafes often have cars stolen. But what'sright about catching a thief? Because now people even see thieves steal thingsdare not say,to "protect themselves ",afraid of thieves to retaliate,so,atthe critical moment,ran away without trace,fully reflect these people selfish,conservative,greedybad habits. Moreover,if everyone is cynical and actively involved in reporting,thewicked can only fight alone,two fists are difficult to fight four hands,willeventually surrender,who dare to be thieves,robbers,murderers?
In fact,children are themost innocent. In some ways,we might as well take children as a teacher,theirbehavior as their own mirror,always look at themselves,can constantly erase thenoise of the world,soothe the impetuous mind,so that they always maintain achildlike heart,have a sense of justice and good nature,treat everyone with asincere heart,not so greedy,selfish! Believe everyone so,can create a bettertomorrow.
Tom Sawyer is a multifaceted character whose world is full ofsunshine and hope. His experience tells us that dreams come true as long asthey are ideal and happy. One day,our nature can play freely,create a clear skyof life,create a dream of their own.
